Some stats (04 of Apr '08)

It is always nice to look for some statistical information. That is, of course, if you are interested in that sort of thing. Anyway, here goes:

On last December, i set up a christmas calendar like in the previous years. It received total of 120 000 hits in 24 days, more than twice of the last years total. The top 5 viewed images where behind doors 7, 23, 1, 2 and 3. Most used browser was Firefox (98%). Second most used was Opera (0,9%) and next Safari (0,2%). Amazingly Internet Explorer was way off the charts and got left last! Less than 0,1% of visitors only used IE. Rest of the browsers, roughly 0,7% where Konqueror, Playstation 3, Playstation Portable (PSP) and other systems.

Past 2 years i have had a fileserver where i store all the skinfiles. It seems that it has not been there in vain. Right now stats show that it has served data worth of 1142551,70 MB which is 1143 Gigabytes total, over 1,1 Terabytes of traffic! Also the site ~/css_skins/ has already almost 160 000 visitors.

Btw, do not try to use my fileserver as your sv_downloadurl host. It won't work. Skins will not download from there to your server players.
